Technical Brief Overview
—Oil and gas recovery and purification devices are often required in scenarios such as refinery production lines, oil depots and gas stations, loading and unloading vehicles, and oil unloading terminals. Generally, a multi-stage condensation and deep cooling + adsorption/catalytic combustion method is used to effectively recover oil and gas and ensure that exhaust emissions meet standards.
—For example, a refining and chemical company has selected a TMCVS1800 condensation + adsorption oil and gas recovery device for its tank farm, zero-level tank unloading area, and loading arms, with an oil and gas processing capacity of 1800 m3/h.
—The device implements gradient cooling for the oil and gas. When the temperature of the oil and gas drops to -70~-75°C, the mass content of non-methane total hydrocarbons in the tail gas is less than 70g/m3. For safety and compliance, the gas then undergoes adsorption treatment, and ultimately, the emission concentration of non-methane total hydrocarbons in the tail gas meets the requirements of GB20950-2007, "Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Oil Storage Depots".
Process route of the device system
1、Collect the oil and gas emitted from the breathing of various loading arms and oil tanks into the gas collecting header.
2、The pressure sensor on the gas collecting header feeds back the pressure signal to the control system.
3、The control system adjusts the suction capacity of the variable-frequency air pump through the frequency converter to timely track the exhaust speed during loading.
4、The centrally collected oil and gas are transported to the oil and gas recovery unit. In the condensation unit, most of the oil and gas are converted into liquid oil through fractional gradient "condensation" for direct recovery to the storage tank. The low-concentration oil and gas after condensation, along with the inlet gas, undergo heat exchange to near room temperature before entering the adsorption unit.
5、The low-concentration oil and gas at near room temperature exiting the heat exchanger continues to enter the adsorption unit composed of two parallel tanks (Tank A and Tank B) for adsorption treatment. The clean gas at the end of adsorption is directly discharged to meet standards, while the adsorption tank that reaches saturation enters the vacuum desorption process. Meanwhile, the other parallel adsorption tank enters the adsorption process.
6、The high-concentration gas after desorption enters the oil collection tank for absorption treatment. A small amount of oil and gas that is not absorbed re-enters the condensation system for the next cycle.
7、When the oil collection tank is full, it is automatically transported to the user's storage tank via an oil pump.
Process principle of oil and gas recovery device
—The oil and gas at normal temperature is conveyed along the main oil and gas pipeline into the condensation unit of the oil and gas treatment device through an explosion-proof air pump (mounted at the rear). The air pump is interlocked with the pressure sensor installed on the main oil and gas pipeline, operating automatically with variable frequency based on the volume of oil dispensed.
—Oil and gas enter the regenerative heat exchanger, then multi-stage condensation: pre-cooled to 4°C, primary tank to -25°C, secondary to -75°C, condensing hydrocarbons. Lean oil gas returns for heat exchange, raising temp to room level, completing cold energy recovery. Oil outlet pipes have cooling recovery devices using superheated steam, preventing ice. Refrigeration fully utilized, no cold waste.
—Low-concentration oil and gas enters adsorption system with two tanks alternating adsorption, desorption, and purging. Tank A adsorbs residuals under normal pressure, shifts to tank B upon saturation, while tank A rejuvenates. Oil and gas flows to oil tank for absorption, unabsorbed parts to next condensation. Tail gas, deemed standard, is safely vented through flame arrester.
